V2+: No activity recorded/shown after a round of golf

Just bought a new Venu 2 Plus. After playing a round of golf it only shows the score but not the activity with the health data. This problem happened for all rounds of golf I've done, so far.
Having had a Vivoactive 4 before, which had the same problem for several years before (@@ see Issue: "Garmin Vivoactive 4s not recording golf as an activity").

Seems that it's the same or similiar problem as on the Vivoactive 4.
Please, can you apply the fix for the Vivoactive 4 also for the Venu 2 plus or fix it otherwise.

Do you have any intermediate solution til the fix can be applied?

Servus from Austria,
Robert

  • On the Venu 2+ go into the Settings>Activities & Apps>Golf>Settings & scroll down to Record Activity & turn the feature “on”. It’s off by default.

  • Thank you BIGAAPL, that worked :-)

So far I’ve used the settings during my golf activity. But there is no ‘Record Activity’ entry (at least in my German version).

Being surprised that there is another way for changing settings (the one you described), I’ve found the missing activity entry Blush

And, voila, turning ‘Record Activity’ on,  worked!

  • I think I've found the error and the workaround.
