Will the newly introduced metric HRV status make it to the Venu 2 Plus in the next update?

You are absolutely right! It has a lot of features that are not relevant at all but an hrv status would be a usefull update and a sign of respect for all the venu 2 users too... i still hope that Garmin…
I just received the 11.08 Beta update and disappointingly, it does not include HRV Status
Instead, Garmin is fixing a few bugs and adding the following rather lame "improvements":

they can add, but honestly, the nightly HRV status is a completely useless feature for anyone, who does not have extreme training sessions. even for them it is useless, as the variance in the nightly status is not that much and they are perfectly aware of their training status anyway.
the reason behind this is that the metric they use is the RMSSD (and not the SDNN), and while this metric may reflect how much you are exhausted but the noise is that much, so if you do exercises for 3 times a week at least, it will be almost constantly low, with some fluctuations (that will be the noise).
SDNN could be much more interesting for the cardiovascular help, but is not calculated, only in the Health Snapshot, but that is a joke again, because SDNN must be calculated for a prolonged period to have any meaning (by definition).
so it is what it is. the most useful HRV data garmin provides now is the stress level, and that is surprisingly consistent and meaningful, and you have that on the Venu.
Well, nightly HRV status is useful for most to monitor a longer term trend. Garmin should include it, and it can do so easily through an update.
You make a good point about SDNN, and it begs the question, why is Garmin not showing us the actual value over time? Apple does so on the Apple Watch.
Stress is very useful, but not nearly as useful as HRV data over time.
