How to respond to calls with a text?

Under User Settings in connect there are options to respond to texts and to respond to incoming calls with a canned message. (Android phones). On the Venu2 there is a way to decline a call and use the canned messages. But on the Venu 2 Plus I can not see how to get that option to send a text. Is that not there on the 2+?

I find the text button takes a few seconds to appear when a call comes in. If you wait, you should see it appear to the left of the caller name or number.

I don't see it even after a few retries. No text button even with phone and watch unlocked. All messages are set up. Can anyone advise please?

It's that icon to the left of the phone number (which I redacted here)

Yeah. I've restarted the phone and now it shows up
