Threads getting locked without real solution being provided

Dear Garmin Team.

I had posted here about excessive battery drain on my Venu 2 Plus. After receiving a reply from one of your moderators the thread is locked, even thought no real answer or solution is provided.

The answer of your moderator is to go to the main battery thread, which I said I did and tried the "fix" to no avail. As other users, the supposed fix doesn't work and we continue to experience abnormal battery drain. Also, explained that I have Bluetooth connectivity issues and was referred to the main thread, which presents no further answer since more than a month and the issue it's still being reported all across the board, with no real update nor fix being rolled out.

I don't see how the answer provided can be seen as possible solution/resolution, this is not the first time these type of shenanigans happens. So please review internally your process.

Regards,

  • The battery drain issue can be fixed by doing what garmin said.

  • I did and is not working.

What they propose is not even a  fix. It's just mediocre solution for an issue that has been reported for more than 2 months.

I am sorry, but there doesn't seem to be any way to excuse how a company releases a semi-working product and then decides to silent their customers with half-assed solutions. While sitting for months on the problem.

    Cheers!

  • I agree with that. Iam the one who reported the issue with repeating pairing codes. Now two month later its the biggest issue thread in the forum and hundreds of people around the world having the issue. Until today there is now statement from garmin if its software, hardware, product related (it is as we now) and if it can be fixed or not.

  • Welcome to the fabulous world of Garmin's post-purchase support. Instead of focusing in releasing a zillion different watches that do not perform as advertised, they should focus on streamlining their product range and making sure that they work as advertised.

Feels like they are juggling 100 of things at the same time and nothing comes out right. such a disappointment.
