I have seen a few other threads related to assistant but wanted to create one for this specific issue. On a Samsung phone with Android 12 - assistant seems to work for everything except reading texts. If the screen is off and I say "read my texts" it says "something went wrong". However, if the screen is on when I do the same - it does read the text and ask me if I want to reply.
