Some Google assistant commands can't be heard

Usually I hear the assistant without trouble but sometimes it is so soft I can't hear it unless the watch is at my ear. One consistent example is asking it to read my texts. If there are none it says there aren't any messages but it can't be heard. Not sure if maybe this is an issue with the phone? Anyone else having issues?

  • Thanks. what is the best way to report this, should I call into local support?

  • Also I have found that even when there are messages - it does not read them. It comes back and says "something went wrong" and then says "do you want to reply".

  • All-

Thank you for your participation in this forum thread.  So that I may assist you further, please reply with the following:

    1. May we, if necessary, have permission to email you?
    2. May we, if necessary, have permission to view/access your Garmin Connect account?
    3. In what country do you live?
  • 1. Yes, you have my permission to email me.

    2. Yes, you have my permission to view/access my Garmin Connect account.

    3. I live in the US.

    Thank you!!

  • My Venu 2 plus works fine with nearly everyting. I can make calls and answer calls with the watch. I can start google assistant with the middle button and ask something and the answer shows on the phone. For 2 days ago I even got the results read out from the watch. But now the watch will not speak out the answer anymore. No different if the phone is locked or not.

If I test to ask google assistent via some bluetooth headphone I sometimes get the result speaken out in my headphones and sometimes not. The same with the phone; I sometimes get the result speaken out in the phone and sometimes not.

I have enable answer from assistant on lock screen and personal results. And enabled personal results in headphones and enabled speech output on.

It seems to be a google problem, not a garmin problem. But it is sad that there is so many settings you can do in google an that it seems to be very unstable..
