Does Venu 2 Plus Allow Texting From the Watch?

I have searched for a way to send a txt from my watch to one of my contacts. There are times I want to send a msg and would like to send from my watch instead of having to use my phone. I know I can respond but would like to create and send.

I should clarify, voice dictation for texting is available through the Phone Assistant as Scott mentioned, but there is not keyboard that will appear on the watch.

Will it be implemented in the future ?

For a 450€ watch, it'd be nice and very useful to have a keyboard to answer to messages (Messenger, SMS,...) quickly, instead of using the phone.…

Venu 2 Plus will only support Android phone (iOS is not supported) text responses, just like our other (compatible) wearables.

Hey Scott, I'll look into that option. I use to be able to txt from my samsung, it comes in handy when I'm in a group of people to just send a quick response.

Replying to texts on a Samsung phone using the assistant does not seem to be working. When you ask to hear your texts it says "something went wrong". It is a Google problem, not Garmin. New texts are working ok.
