Venu 2 Plus cannot connect to gps for the longest time

I just got my Venu 2 plus today and was trying to set everything up and taking it for the ride.

To my horror, it cannot connect to gps for ages.

I know that it may take a while to connect, but I dun expect it to be more than 30mins.

It definitely leave a very bitter disappointed taste in my mouth. And reading it from forum, this is not a new problem for ALL models.

How can garmin NOT fix a recurring problem and expect customers to find solutions by themselves?

Im having regrets from choosing Garmin at all. Fitbit do not have such an issue at all.

Anyone can advise?

Besides the usual trouble-shooting tips (restart, reload, redownload garmin connect which i have tried.)

This doesn’t sound like a genuine post to be honest. The V2+ is very quick at getting a GPS fix. Certainly much quicker than other GPS devices I’ve used. The first ever fix for any device is going to be a bit slower, but no way would it be 30 mins, Are you sure you’re outside

There's either something specific to your situation/location or you need a warranty replacement. I have a Venu, Venu2, and a Venu 2 Plus. They all connect to GPS within 30 seconds most of the time. Sometimes a minute or two.
