After 7.37 update no Google assistant with Oppo find x3 pro

After 7.37 update the google assistant is no more available with Oppo Find X3 Pro.
During the setup of Garmin Connect (when re-associating) now appears a screen indicating this incompatibilty.

When I press the voice assistant button on the watch it says "no smartwatch connection" although the watch is properly connected to the phone and syncs without an issue.

I'm running 7.37 on venu 2 plus and oppo coloros 12 on the phone.

Please help.

  • I had this. I removed the watch from Garmin Connect. Made sure it was also deleted from the Bluetooth settings in my phone. Then re-paired it via Garmin connect.  It still said the phone was incompatible (even though the first time i paired i never got this message), but it worked fine and has done ever since.

  • I did what you suggested but the issue remains (the warning during setup and the "no smartwatch connection" when I press the middle button).

Try rebooting your phone to see if that helps. Something happened to my Pixel and the watch would keep saying there’s no connection like you until I rebooted the phone and now it is fine.

  • Hi guys, i have a find x3 pro too and have an issue too, mine is saying connectong to voice assistant, then google assistant opens on the phone, but the watch does not allow me to talk to in it, and then says failed to connect, however the assistant is open on the phone. Any idea ? Ps, i tried the dissoc / re assoc method + reboot but didnt work .
