Notifications settings question

Under Settings > Connectivity > Phone > Notifications

there are settings for Timeout and Privacy. Neither are explained in the manual. Can someone explain what each of these do?

I don't know for sure, but the Timeout might refer to the length of time a notification message will show on the watch face if you don't otherwise dismiss it. Useful IMO as on the Venu 2 the default timeout seems fairly short.

That would be my guess too although time out doesn’t really describe it in my opinion. More like time on or duration.

Hi, yes. Timeout the message appears right on the watch for whatever length you have chosen (short, medium or long). Privacy means the message doesn’t appear, just a notification that you have a message. Then you can read the message later when you want to or tap it right there to read it.
