Phone Incompatibility List

Please consult the FAQ below to make sure that your phone is compatible with the Venu 2 Plus.

Venu 2 Plus: Phone Incompatibility List

  • The Garmin app told me that my phone was incompatible - Samsung Galaxy S9+.  However, voice assistant is working fine.  I haven't tried the phone yet.

  • I'm sorry for the trouble that you're having that message.  Did you (or could you) get a screenshot of the message you received about the phone's incompatibility?  Additionally, if you could let us know what features were/are NOT working properly, that would be very helpful.

  • I've also come across this.  When I pair my 2+ with my phone on Thursday all went well.  I was doing some testing and removed and re-added my 2+ last night.  When I did this it said "Your Realme RMX2144does not support the Voice Assistant and Bluetooth calling features...  "  The friendly name for my phone is the Realme X50 5G.  When I tried to use the Voice Assistant or Calling (which has previously worked fine) it said "No Phone Connected" even though within Garmin Connect it said it was connected.  I removed the 2+ within Garmin Connect, but this time I also removed it from Bluetooth Settings on the Phone (Garmin Connect seems to leave the device as a paired device within this!).  This time I still get the error below but Voice Assistant and Bluetooth calling is now working again.

  • I didn't grab a screenshot unfortunately.  I don't have any features that are not working as expected.  Phone calls come thru my watch, the caller is announced, I can answer from my watch if I so choose.  I'm super happy with this device so far!

If you are experiencing any issues with phone incompatibility and your phone is NOT listed on the incompatibility list, please follow the process below:

Make sure the watch is fully removed from the Garmin Connect Mobile app and from the phone's Bluetooth settings.  Power off the phone and the watch and power both back on, then pair again.  For reference, please use the FAQs below:
