Garmin Lily 2 GPS distance inaccurate

I've read a few threads on here but noone seems to have a solution.

I track a normal run route of 3.2km every week, with consistently getting the same result from my Lily 2 watch connected to the GPS of my samsung phone.

My husband just ran the exact same route at 2.8km with his Garmin forerunner. Google maps confirms his distance is accurate and mine is 400m off.

How is this even possible when it should be based off map data, and what can I do to fix it other than getting a better watch?

  • I can see someone else has provided screenshots experiencing the same issue. As far as I can tell, my tracking is working with full GPS connection and no gaps, no erratic lines etc.

I recently went for a 17km walk with a friend and by the end I had tracked over a kilometre more than her. She had a different Garmin watch. What she tracked was more in line with the correct distance by Google maps, and it is my Lily that is incorrect.
