Same here. - After our walk today my Lily's distance walked showed .54 km and my husband's Venue showed 3.1 kms.
I will try to run an update on my computer through Garmin Connect.

Hi! I realised where I was going wrong. It needed connecting to the phone gps by opening the app before my run. Oops
