Lily (new) - Date format does not sync

I have tried changing the date format to "Day/Month"; however, the watch still shows the format of "Sep, Sun 03"

I have removed the device from the Bluetooth
Restarted phone
I have removed the device from the Gamin Connect app
Added Lily watch back to devices through the Garmin Connect mobile app
Paird Lily to Bluetooth
Finished setup
Changed the Date Format to "Day/Month"
Re-synced
1. The same result, watch face shows "Sep, Sun 03" which is the "Month/Day" format
