Garmin Lily - I have given up

Body Battery doesn’t work - I have reset several times and it sticks regularly on 5% even though I’ve slept for 7.5 hours.

Doesn’t alway automatically register sleep

Tells me to move when I’m already moving!

When walking - auto feature seems doesn’t kick in until after 30mins then stops when I’m still walking. Then if I alter activity time it doesn’t add on.

I love the look & size of the watch but it doesn’t work.

  • Sleeping is not what recharge the body battery. You need low stress. Low stress is usually during sleep but sleeping doesn't mean low stress.

If you look at the body battery graph you see the stress values. If they are blue (below 25) you recharge. The lower stress value you got the faster you will recharge.

There are a number of things that can make you have high stress. Check this page. There is a list far down in that page with factors that affect body battery.

    Body Battery Frequently Asked Questions

It seems like it isn't noticing that you are moving. Do you hold anything in your hands or pushing a stroller or similar? The arm with the watch must move for it to work properly.

If you want to log a walk then start it manually to be sure that it logs it correctly. Recording a Timed Activity or Recording an Activity with Connected GPS

  • Hi - I really appreciate your replies on this.

I do start the walks manually sometimes but I also compare it’s auto start with that of Fitbit. I do move my hands and yesterday’s walk of 90 mins only logged 23 mins.

It’s actually stopping during activities in the middle of a gym class as well.

Ultimately, it doesn’t perform properly and my issues are also being experienced by others so it’s time to send it back.

    Thanks for your time
