abnormal heart rate alert on my Garmin watch

While washing the dishes and singing, I received an alert, and my heart rate was recorded as 95. I presume that because I was standing in one location (washing the dishes), the watch might have misunderstood the activity as inactive. However, as I was engaged in an activity (washing dishes and singing), my heart rate naturally increased, possibly leading the watch to misinterpret it as an elevated heart rate while being inactive. Is it accurate to assume that the watch identifies activities by changes in location? Or is there a reason for concern in this situation?
