distance tracking completely wrong on my new Lily

I have a brand new Garmin Lily and the distance tracking on it is completely inaccurate when I go for walks. It misses entire blocks that I walk on. How can I fix this? Thank you.

It uses your phone's GPS. What phone do you have?

This model uses Connected GPS with your paired phone. There are some guidelines to follow in order to get the most accurate reading, which can be found here: Using the Connected GPS Feature With a Garmin Watch.
