Temperature units don’t change to celsius when settings are metric

I have read all other threads but cannot fix this problem.

i have a Garmin Lily.

i have set to Metric in settings in the app.

i cannot find anywhere else to change setting for temperature or distance on the watch or the app.

Please help

In Garmin Connect, select watch at the top, change the units setting to statute. Sync the watch. Go back again and change to metric and sync again. This worked for me.
