Lily does not record accurate distance

Question

My Lily Garmin does not record accurate distance. While running/walking with friends my device is at least 300-400 metres different. I have tried some different options. Can this be fixed?

Hello all! We have just released a new software version for Lily, so please ensure that you have updated the watch to version 5.17. After doing so, please record a few activities while connected to GPS (using your mobile phone). If you are still seeing distance discrepancies, please tag me and confirm that you give us permission to access/view your Garmin Connect account to investigate this issue further.

 Discrepancies between what your device (and Garmin Connect) shows and what is shown in a third-party app are usually small. If you are seeing significant differences/discrepancies, please list the value for distance shown in each app when you tag me and confirm we have permission to access/view your GC account.
