Garmin Lily 2 or Apple Watch SE 2

Need recommendation between these two options please. I currently have a Redmi Watch 3 and planning to upgrade. I know Garmin is a powerhouse when it comes to fitness watches, however I kinda feel like completing the Apple ecosystem. Another thing to ask is, is it safe to wear either of these watches to shower???

For the record, I weight train 2-3x per week and run 0-1x per week. Looking for a device with good battery life & functionality. Aesthetic is only secondary but much appreciated.

Basically not someone who would be a power user of a fitness watch, but of course who wouldn't want a good value for money purchase lol. What do you guys think?
