How to disable GPS for “other”? (or, alternatively, which activity should I use to track barre classes?)

  • When I try to use "other" for barre, my watch starts trying to use GPS. I don't want to use GPS because it isn't necessary and drains the battery, but I can't find a way to disable it. Is there a way to use "other" for indoor activities without GPS? I've also tried tracking barre classes with strength and pilates and the calorie/heart rate estimates vary considerably (pilates being higher), which makes me worry that choosing the wrong activity will make it less accurate. Thank you!
