Disconnect completely for 2nd time in two months

More than a month ago, I woke up wanting to sync my ISM device, but I discovered that it was not possible. The only solution I found was to pair it again, which allowed it to function normally the next night.

Today, the same issue occurred. As I was falling asleep, I felt the vibration of my ISM device a few times. I initially ignored it, but I can’t help but wonder if it was a sign of something amiss, such as a freeze or a similar problem.

In the morning, I was unable to sync my ISM device again and had to re-pair it.

I’m not sure what’s happening here, but it seems that after a few days, my ISM device freezes or resets and needs to be added back to Garmin Connect.

  • Yea, mine just started doing this too - I've had it for 4 months.  This, along with the sporadic syncing (sometimes it will, sometimes it won't), and missed skin temperature reading has finally pushed me to just put this thing in the bin and write it off.   Garmin support won't take it back (which is kind of unusual, I've had excellent support with the hearr rate monitors when I've had issues with them), but so it goes I guess.
