Recent Stress not being sync'ed to Training Readiness

The workaround posted in the previous thread does not work, there is no workaround, I’ve tried every workflow possible. It’s a software issue. I’ve had my ISM for nearly 4 weeks now. I’ve always powered off my Epix at night, and my iPhone. The ISM works as an independent device as I sleep.

There is No Recent Stress showing in Training Readiness. I wore my Epix for 1 night instead of my ISM and it populated again. Continued with my ISM and it disappeared after 2 days.

My HRV has dropped to ‘Low’ since using the ISM. It moved to ‘Un-Balanced’ 3 nights ago but my ‘Baseline’ has dropped making this happen. My overnight stress is also now always below 25 (Blue).

On SW 3.70, Epix Pro 51mm (SW 22.06) & iPhone 15 Plus.

  • Looks like I found a solution for this. I've been using ISM to monitor sleep for months right after buying it but got only "No Recent Stress" in Training Readiness along with suspiciously stubborn advice "Wear this watch for three consecutive nights". Eventually I just followed this advice as there's nothin' left to loose, and it actually worked. I slept for three nights wearing my FR970 only, no ISM, and voila, all the Resent Stress appeared for all 7 nights including data recorded earlier with ISM. FR970 (v15.52), ISM, iPhone 14 Pro.

  • It doesn’t last. You only need to wear your watch for one night and stress appears, Stop wearing your watch and it stays for 3 days’ish, then disappears again. Recovery hours are messed up as well, very hit and miss. I went to bed with zero hours and woke up with 12! after a solid nights sleep!
Nothing is being addressed, I’ve reported all these problems to support. IMO It’s good for resting HR and HRV, but that’s questionable with the low readings it gives. I regularly go un-balanced (low). Wear my watch and it’s immediately up in range.

I now ignore training readiness and have deleted it from my Epix, not that I paid much attention to it anyway. On a positive note, the ISM feeds into the new health status metrics, which I prefer as a holistic snapshot.

  • Sadly I have to admit you're right. Just got same disappearance today. What a bummer.
