index sleep monitor will not blink purple to sync bluetooth

How do I get the index sleep monitor to blink purple. Only has green solid when plugged in. Can get to blink white and light blue. Will not sync to phone/ connect app.

I had this problem yesterday. Garmin support said to plug it in, then tap it rapidly on the back - 10 times in 2 seconds - was the actual number they suggested. I tapped away on it rapidly and the led turned from green to purple. Was then able to move it from my android to iphone.

I did suggest that they put this info on their product documentation.

Thanks I tapped a lot and it got the purple and connected.
