Are optional fields undefined, null or set to zero in wellness api?

Hello,

I am wondering if optional values in wellness api are returned as undefined, null or zero?

For example, I know that REM sleep is only calculated by specific devices.

Will it be set to zero, null or undefined when I get a response?
