index scale weight is 15-20 lbs too light

my INDEX SCALE was displaying correct weight. now all of a sudden its 15-20 lbs too light ( for 3 weeks now). The weight is consistant. its just wrong

Do you have the original Index, or Index S2?

My Index S2 will sometimes (rarely) be off by 4 or 5 Lbs. due to it not being stored horizontally. 20 lbs. is quite extreme.

Some things to try:
Replace the batteries, then test again.
Reset the scale to defaults - Returning the Index Smart Scale Series to Setup Mode
Then setup the scale again, then test.
If nothing works, contact Garmin Support directly to report the issue.
