So I looked on line, see several people have same issue.
The scale with just start flashing the whole screen white. I did the battery replacement trick. That lasted about 1 to 2 weeks. Did that twice. Now after looking on line, I see no one has got an answer how to fix but several people have same issue?
I reached out to Garmin on chat, there is no fix. Since mine is out of warranty, they were nice enough to start looking up replacement cost and i told them i know replacement cost, i have 2 scales, $149.99 for a new scale.
Explained it to chat person what was going on. They asked for a video so I told them to look in the forum from a year go from "Rachel", great video showing.
Would be nice if they tried to look into the issue and resolve it. Now i will probably buy another scale and will get the white flashing face of death once warranty is out again.
Garmin being the large company they are (own several other companies), me being a good supporter for years now purchasing maybe 10 watches each for me and my wife, scales, blood pressure cuffs, bike tracking accessories, HRMs, etc....... I was hoping for better response I guess.
