Garmin still problematic connectivity issue.
At first: Yes there are still the same problems with the scale. Can anyone test with a phone hotspot. Like my Forerunner965 works. My Edge1040 works.
People at Garmin in the `hetherlands say that the scale cannot connect to a hotspot. But they won't give any proof of that. Besides that there is nothing in the requirements about that.
Secondly: Another thing is that I see an encrypted logfile. This is not helpfull in problem solving.
Third: What has Garmin done to troubleshot this issue ? Does `garmin produce this scal ? In teh sense that every part of it is made by Garmin itself. Or doesGarmin rely on other partners to maje the networking hardware / encryption software ? If I look on the forum there is no progression at solving this problem in four years !
I have I vested in a watch a navigation device from garmin and i would be happy to see the scale also functioning so I get the most out of the garmin devices and my paid subscription to the foodcoach app.
