Garmin scale s1

I have an S1 scale that worked very well for years. The batteries lasted more than a month. The software is at version 3.20. For a few days now the batteries don't last a single day. The scale works, but I'm having to leave it without batteries. Can someone help me?

I am on the same software version for my original Index Scale with no issues. I did see one post on Reddit. "Just got my S1 replaced because it just constantly drains it's own battery by looping on and off for no reason. "
