Battery drain - Index S2

No answer to this question from previous posts.
Battery life on new Smart Scale is only 2 weeks. It’s supposed to be 9 months. Any ideas as to what’s causing the battery drain?

Are you changing all 4 batteries at once? verified the direction each battery is inserted? Is the scale powering off completely until the batteries are changed or is it stuck on a battery icon with a slash through it? I would recommend contacting Garmin Support in your region. It is possible that your device will need to be exchanged, and exchanges cannot be initiated via the Forums
