I recommend reaching out to Product Support through their website at https://support.garmin.com. Use the Phone or Chat options. Email exchanges take a lot of time.

Solved, on garmin offivial service found problem, fault wifi module
I just recently switched to a new router and had to migrate all devices. In addition, I setup a dedicated network for IOT devices, and my Index S2 suddenly cannot connect, cannot see my SSID, but can detect my neighbors. Anyway, in the end, it worked when I set my 2.4GHz IOT WIFI on Channel 10. My other IOT device remained connected, so that's good. Not sure if it will work for others.
Same issue..Index does not find any network...it worked perfekt until June 2024 :-(

Unfortunately Garmin scales don't work properly and are very poor products. They might work for a bit, and Gamrin hope that this will at least get them to the end of the warranty period, but essentially they aren't fit for purpose.
The newer S2 version is just as terrible as the previous version, with persisnt WiFi issues that Garmin will just as persistently blame on external factors.
I'm afarid the only answer to this is just buy some other scales and manually enter the information.
The Garmin scales are simply a peice of junk.
