wrong % body fat in Index S2

In the last months I read that the wrong measurement of the body fat was solved.
I buyed yesterday the Index S2 (sw version 3.30).
Tanita showed a body fat 18,3.
Garmin S2 shows  a body fat 27,3.
I think that S2 is wrong and also I ... was wrong to don't listen the lot of post on this Forum against Index S2.
I am very disappointed!!!

  • Use the "Set Body Composition" feature as mentioned on this post - Index S2 inaccurate body fat

Once that is configured, the bodyfat% will be more in line with reality.

  • You can set the value you want as previous answer.

But garmin say real fat, all fat brown fat plus reserve fat plus vital fat

And extra fat you have to loose.

    I am 176 cm 72 kg

I could be happy with a Chinese scale and 15% fat

But the garmin with 22% is the real %

Because the minimal to live is 10%

And I have still 7kg to loose

Touch the skin on the back on the legs if you touch fat

    You have to loose weight

    Or

    Your height /2 minus 10%

Should be the the circonferenze of your belly

    1. Every cm plus on the belly is kg of fat to loose
  • These answers are absurd.
You work to achieve the body fat percentage "you  want".

You don't just set the device to give you a reading that you want.
This is a device that is supposed to determine body composition.

    It simply doesn't.
