All the user profiles have disappeared from my Index S2 Smart Scale

My Garmin Index S2 Scale was working just fine for two months since I bought it. It has had two profiles saved on it, one for me (owner) and one for my son. Both profiles worked great and updated our data on Garmin Connect just fine. I've been using my S2 scale every 3 days for two months with no problems. Today when I used my S2 scale, it did not recognize my weight profile. I tried one more time and when the "?" profile appeared, I tapped the right edge of the scale to see if I can select my own profile, but all of the profiles showed "?" marks. There are no longer any profiles saved to my scale. I tried resetting the scale and syncing it with Garmin Connect on my phone, but still there are no profiles on the scale. I double checked the WiFi connection and it is working just fine. None of my recent weight measurements are getting saved to my Connect account.

Any suggestions why?
