no name on scale

I have a brand new s2 Scale

I have connected successfully to WIFI

I have created a USER on the app.

but when Weigh, no user appears on the screen. just the head with a question mark

Thanks but that doesnt help. I have done that. there are NO names on the scale. Yet I have the name in my app, and it shows connected to my scale and wifi.

Then all I can think of is to try to remove it from the GC, reset it, update its software and pair it with the GC again.
