Flashing white screen

Same issue as was mentioned here - Index Smart Scale entire screen flashing white - Index S2 Smart Scale - Health & Wellness - Garmin Forums

The thread is locked, but thought I'd mention this again. I've had the Index S2 since it come out in 2020 and have never had this issue until today. As others stated, removing a battery and reinserting it fixed the problem, for now. I actually replaced all the batteries with fresh new batteries. Are other users still having this problem? Does it keep happening or is this workaround fix it forever? I would contact Garmin support, but since I've had this scale for over 3 years, I don't think they could do anything about it. Scale is on the latest version 3.30.

    I have the same, brand new out of the box while trying to update the firmware.

    I have the same problem. Started my scale and did the setup. Needed to manualy update the firmware like discribed on the garmin website. When i wanted to start using the scale the screen started flashing.

    I removed the batteries and it fixed it for a couple of hours, but then i had a problem were my scale didn't want to sync over my wifi. After reseting the scale and trying some different wifi networks the screen started flashing again.

    I hope there is a fix for this. I looked forward to use this scale and it hasn't worked...

    Same. Now it happens weekly. To make it worse the flashing screen kills the batteries, so, I have to install new ones every time.

    Sorry to hear that. Since my initial post 4 months ago, I have not encountered this issue.
