Body fat are you sure that is it incorrect? I Think that a lot of you write wrong information!

Body fat are you sure that is it incorrect? I Think that a lot of you write wrong information!

I'm italian and I write in metric system

I'm tall 176 cm my weight is 73 kg
Chinese scale say i have 18%
Garmin say i'm 22.5%

I red you are saying that is too much!

first:

do you think that weight without fat is
73-73x0.225=56,6

or 73/1.225=59.6 (maybe is that is correct

But I searched for olympic runners of marathon my height:
They are 60 kg with 5% of fat

You cannot live without 5% of essential fat (primary) or higher
Deposit fat is almost 10% better 12%
SuperAtlets is 2%-6%

Total for an healthy sportman is 15%

so for me 176cm without fat is
59.6 kg
Minimal to live is 6% = 62.6

To be healthy sportman 12% = 65 kg
Normal atletic 15$ = 69 kg
So I have to loose 6kg of useless fat
(my max was 103kg and started to run from 9min for km and now 4.45 for km)

So I think that GARMIN is correct
CHINESE scales not calculate essential fat

And most of you want only a a scale that lie

Like most of you a changed initialy the fat % on the site connect to use the chinese scale fat %

But after all calculation now I am using the garmin scale and arrive to a real 16% withount cheating

  • Body fat is 100% incorrect all the time on the scale.  It says I'm at 26% body fat which is ridiculous.  I'm 5'9" (175CM) I'm roughly 167lbs (75.7kg). This puts me in their overfat category.  I'm not ripped but I'm defined
