Metrics: Protein, visceral fat, ...

Hi everybody ,

I got an S2 recently as I use Garmin devices all over actually. It fitted nicely and I was forced to manually transfer the values to Garmin. However, my former $18 Chinese Scale from HealthKeep displayed more data than the Garmin scale does. Protein, visceral fat, ... 13 metrics overall.

Any chance to see these in Garmin as well?

Thank you!

Ragsdale,

Marc

  • I am afraid garmin index S2 is one of the worst garmin products. Really poor value for money. No chance to compete with 20eur Chinese scales :/

You can request it here - Share Ideas | Garmin

Meanwhile, make sure you have the "Advanced Body Metrics" turned on.

  • Im Just Bought the gamrin s2 scale since I wanted to combine it with my EPIX gen 2 watch and also track my weight. It shocks me to see how little stats they show.. How can you not have visceral vet % for ex.. This is one of the most important measurements. Also the app and my watch track so many things that I automatically assumed the scale would track those basic things as well.. but no. I have to buy another scale to see those measurements. Really disappointing.

  • Chinese scales doesn't mesaure visceral or all other metrics, just calculate

  • Chinese scales have 20 metrics but most are just a stime based on calculus

If garmin put visceral and underskin fat will have thousand of posts of people saying that are incorrect. Instead with a Chinese fake scale we are happy
