Takes 2 or 3 attempts to get correct weight

Bought the scale on Sunday - I have noticed that I need to stand on the scales 2 or 3 times before the correct weight is shown. For example this morning, my weight was 2.5kg heavier than yesterday on my first step on , then on my second attempt it dropped by 0.5kg and then on the 3rd attempt it dropped to 0.1kg below yesterdays weight which is what I was expecting. I know this correct as I used another digital scale that I have. Any idea why it is taking more than one attempt for the correct weight to be shown ?

Maybe 1 out of 10 times this happens to me. I know that the scale has difficulties if it is stored in a different position than the weighing position, especially if stored vertically - Scale not accounting for it own weight? - Index S2 Smart Scale

I did have the scale stored vertically so will lie it flat from now on
