Weighted about 4 more lbs every first measurement of a day

Recently, I found that my Index S2 will give me a wrong weight in the first measurement of a day. Usually about 4 more lbs will be added to my actual weight. When I ask somebodies step on my Index S2 and measure their weight, then I measure my weight again, I will get the correct weight.

Does anyone have the same issue? Or can anyone suggest the solution for me? I have already tried to restore my S2 but the problem persists.

How is this scale being stored in between weighing? We've had reports that if it's stored vertically in between weigh-ins, the reported weight will be wrong. Typically, off by the weight of the scale itself (about 4 lbs). I did some tests and came up with the same conclusion.

Thanks for your reply. I have been storing it horizontally inside my wardrobe. So I need to take it out every time. Seems it is the similar problem and I will try to let it sleep again next time to see if it is work for my situation.

Tried for about 10 days. Unfortunately I am still having the problem.

In that case, I suggest contacting support. They can provide additional suggestions or possibly an exchange if they decide the scale is faulty. Even if out of warranty, I would still let them know.
