Does it make any sense to wait for s3?

Yes, it will be best to wait for an S3, even if it takes a long time. But then don't get the S3 when it comes out, because it will be new and have some issues. But then when the issues are resolved, don't buy it quite yet, wait for the price to come down. But when the price comes down, it's not a good idea to buy it, because the S4 will be coming out soon. But...

Well, keep following the forum. If Garmin isn't able to make the BF% more reliable, then I'd reconsider whether the Garmin scale is worth the high price.

The issue hasn' been being fixed for over the year! I assume it's a hardware problem they can't admit.because they might be forced to refund the customers.

Indeed look for other brand better , sense they release S2 till now not accurate body fat % not even close . Don’t buy garmin scales 

Indeed. Based on how Garmin behaves with this scale, I am now questioning my decision to purchase their watch couple of months ago. Problem/errors happen all the time, the problem is how a company handles them.

i just realized/learned that the s2 came out 3 years ago. i would say the s3 release is...close if that's the case. i don't think they "nailed it" with the s2, and i thing garmin knows this. we'll see but i probably wouldn't look to buy an s2 at this point...

after S2 performance and all wrong numbers that give peoples and leaking in update . why would you waite S3 . i have s2 and i will not waite s3 to get same results.better to get better another brand make sure trusted garmin in this area cant be trusted.
