Returning Index S2 solely because of train wreck apple health integration

I bought a new Index s2 smart scale. Nice scale. Horrible software thought. Every major smart scale can properly update Apple Heath except this train wreck. Seriously, no real time results update, Garmin really can’t make that work? It waits until midnight? How stupid. Then it doesnt update lean muscle mass.

My apple health is integrated to medical records so this info is important. And this is something Garmin’s slacky developers would never be able to accomplish if they cant figure out a simple real time update like all their competitors.

Dont even get me going on how big of a mess Garmin’s Apple Health integration is for biking, running, and walking. Garmin obviously doesnt know how to develop apps

Sure is. And users should be aware of the substandard applications garmin is putting out

May I ask why you thought that this would work with apple health when, for at least the last four months, you have been complaining about how bad the Health integration is? (Along with generally knocking garmin support in general). Also, I’m fairly sure this is less of a competency issue, and more of a priority (or policy) issue.

if I may pry, why does it matter medically when your weight gets recorded? (Honestly curious, I get the need for accuracy, and could even see why you would need to know it to plan out something about your day, but I don’t get why it matters if it’s written to your medical record at 7am or midnight. Thanks!

I would like apple health integration. I think we all want it because it’s a central storage for everything and we (users) own the data on apple health.
