Index s2 always rebooting

Hello all!

My newly bought index s2 is behaving weirdly I think.

I have a hard time to wake it up. And when it does, it takes my weight in, lock and then it shows the BMI and then shuts down.

It is almost everytime like that. I even swapped the batteries and it didn't change anything.

Is there something I'm missing? Does it works good for index s2 users? Does the 2.12 firmware has that bug?

I tried with AAA batteries non-rechargeable. It works better, but it did the same thing a few times. I'll give it a try with better batteries once I get them. Mine were AAA Nihm 1.2V Duracell. It is specified…

Not seeing this issue, even with the new firmware. Suggest contacting support - https://support.garmin.com

It is specified in the manual that it works under 1.5V AAA batteries wich happen to be the non-rechargeable one, for the most part.

I hope it'll solve my problem, if not, ill sure take the matter to support team. ;)

Mine was doing the same... I tried replacing the batteries and it fixed it. If this doesn't help try factory resetting the scale:

If factory resetting the device does not work contact Garmin RMA to get a replacement unit. Or just refund the scale and buy something else... Actually a couple of days later it started rebooting itself again (just like yours). I tried factory resetting it and it keeps doing that. So definitely is a software issue, because batteries are not the probelm.
