Index S2 - no weather data shown

Do you have any ideas how to show weather data again? The widget is shown but no numbers. Scale is connected to Wifi and the Garmin App on my phone. Garmin App has all access rights including location.

Please see the 3.00 software update for this device which was just released and addresses this disruption. This software release should be available to all users at this time.

Same issue here. I contacted Garmin support and have a ticket open about this issue.

Weather does not register on new scale. Scale only updates to Connect App occasionally. I can not say that this scale is worth purchasing at this time. Garnin needs to fix this!

I am a software developer and I have to say the time to act to solve ....well investigate this bug ....is getting to be unacceptable. I mean there is one official response saying they will have a look but seems a bigger issue so no information. Wild guess: the satellite you are using for the weather feature is ATM down to the war. However, I can give you at least 3 quick fixes to make your users happy, since I am ATM not ...I have a very expensive scale so far that does nothing cool so far.

When this first started happening I thought it might have something to do with the conflict in Ukraine as the timing was about right, I’m in Australia and whilst mine is still working fine, someone else in Aus said theirs has stopped working, so I’m really not sure to be honest.

Additionally, I’m not sure what relevance satellites might have to this scale, there is no GPS interaction with it and the location is based on the IP address of your internet connection - Garmin supposedly uses that to work out the closest weather station that it uses.

Garmin Weather works fine on all other devices. It's the scale that doesn't work.

Same here in Italy, weather widget doesn’t work anymore since one week!!
