I get wacky temperature that does not make any sense regardless if it was accidentally in Fahrenheit. I assume it is looking to the wrong location. I can not find a location setting in the connect app? How is the temperature location calculated?

I found this support article from Garmin:
https://support.garmin.com/en-US/?faq=nR1gc72ohvAukzZF58HN06
They obviously use geolocation of your ip address, which may sometimes give the incorrect location.
More problematic is most likely that the weather forecast "is collected from the closest official weather station to your starting point. For the most part, local airports will be the official weather stations." (https://support.garmin.com/en-US/?faq=iSaDaYsypP3QYBVRveLXAA). If you're unlucky, your closest weather station will be quite far away (50 km or more is possible!) and at a completely different altitude.
HI there! Here is an article explaining where the weather location is from. What Is the Source of the Weather Data Displayed on My Index S2 Smart Scale?
Thanks. I assume Garmin realises that this can iMoncton the utility of this feature. The router that was provided by my internet service provider helpfully has a location 1000km away and no setting to update its location. Eventually the database will be updated but I am at a disadvantage being not in a capital city, assume lower frequency of updates and in an apartment block with high turnover. Thus I have disabled the widget.
