How to correct the graph in the scale?

In case aciddently someone else used the scale and uploaded his/her weight (lets say 15kg +/- than yours) to your profile than the graph will be "broken".

If the weight is very different from yours you will see more or less just one flat line with one peak, instead lots of peaks/lows weithin a smaller range.

To correct the graph in Garmin is easy, as you can delete single measurements, but how to do that in the scale. As far as I have understood are delete measurements in Garmin not synched back to the scale.

Any solution for that? I dont want to reset the scale and start every time again from scratch, as I just was enjoying the new graph.

  • I am also interested in a solution for this. I wanted to measure all of my baggage on me for my next trip, and now I have a point on the graph which is 20 kg above the norm..

The scale should just take the data from Garmin Connect.

  • No solution that I know of. Other than waiting 30 days for the incorrect data to fall off the chart.

The scale should just take the data from Garmin Connect.

I agree, the scale should just pull the data from Connect rather than pulling it from its internal memory. Maybe they do that because it can't pull the data from Connect fast enough during the weigh-in; but then it should at least sync with Connect once per night or something.

That would also solve the related issue where people with new Index S2 scales (but with existing weight data on Connect) not having their existing data shown on the chart. And also it would allow people to have more than one Index S2 scale, and have the data synced between them.
