Pairing my Index 2 with a friend

I hope someone could help because I am pulling my hair out at this stage. LOL

Bought the Index2, paired it to my Connect App with little problem, added my wife as a friend through connections but no matter what I do or what I read online I cannot find a way to connect her to the scales. 2 hours has passed and trying everything from resets, to removing batteries to everything! If I hit the reset button however, it does however allow me to connect her but of course, it disconnects me. I no longer have the Garmin as a devive and now she is the owner and I am back to square one of trying to connect me to the device without success. Any help would be so much appreciated.

Hi there, I am sorry you have been able to get both of you added. Can you try doing it through the web? Adding or Removing a Guest User to an Index Smart Scale Series

Hi, I am trying to connect my partner and it simply doesn’t work!1. The only way we get connected is by hitting the reset button and establishing the other person as the user. This is far from ideal for such an expensive scale . The advertising is a lie, there is no way you can have 2 users let alone 15 individuals.

Is there an instruction anywhere as to how to add a 2nd user. We both have iPhone and have tried both via web and app.

apps are up to date. Have tried individually and collectively resetting our apps, phones and the wifi. Nothing is working

we have followed the instructions over and over, after an hour I think it is time just to get my money back.

Hello, I am so sorry this has been your experience so far. Have you followed this article Adding or Removing a Guest User to an Index Smart Scale Series. If so, are you getting any errors?
