Why there are no Index S2 available just anywhere?

I have one ordered and waiting more than one month in a big european retailer. But searching the web, there are no alternatives, nobody seems to have it stock. This is strange. It seems there was a first batch, and then... puuuff!

I guess the few places that have one, could be a remaining unit from that first batch.

Could have been something wrong with the first units ? Why this totally lack of supply?

I don't have an answer but I am frustrated as well.

I am in Canada, and I have been waiting for availability as well. I contacted Garmin last week and they told me it would be at least the middle of January before any are available.

Terrible release management and inventory control!

Uhhmm... something fishy happened. Because there were some availability in late october and then... 3 months to next batch?

Not gonna try to get one of the few available. I'll wait for the next container from china

I’m guessing they’re taking the issue of incorrect BF% and addressing it before manufacturing more.

You might want to take a look at Best Buy if you live in Canada. I managed to get one from them but they went out of stock right after.

A few days ago they showed up at Amazon UK sold by the same retailer I ordered. It'll be delivered any time today. Hope it will live to my expectations.
So the stocks are probably coming back, just in time to track Christmas disgrace :)

Any news here? Orderd a index s2 by late november. Expected delivery date moves on and on, not only in the shop where I ordered, everywhere.

They are back in stock with Wiggle in the UK. I ordered one two days ago which is now out for delivery

Not anymore it seems. Searching for 'Garmin Index' shows no results at all.

Just checked and they have the white one in stock now, with available delivery for tomorrow (Wiggle | Garmin Index S2 Smart Scale | Scales)
