Better than version 1?

It would have great if version 2 of the scales would send data via Bluetooth to your phone and connect to 5g home WiFi which it doesn't so basically its awaste of money considering there are scales on the market that do at least on of the above

It does connect to wifi. Why would you need it to also connect to bluetooth?

it does not connect to 5GHz wifi systems only 2GHz has for bluetooth it doesnt send data to your laptop or your phone 

• Ok, but it's not sending a ton of data. 2 Ghz is more than enough. Once the data is sent you can get to it from any device, so yes it does send to your laptop and phone. Just go to connect.garmin.com in a browser. And use the connect app on your phone.

if your router doesnt use 2ghz it wont connect to the scales and to garmin connect  didnt you know this hence why i said 5ghz and bluetooth  and garmin know this and did nothing to correct this which in my opinion is very poor for a company like garmin 

I've never heard of a 5 Ghz router that didn't also support 2, but ok, yea, that would be a problem.

virgin network in the uk their routers are crap the engineer bridged 2ghz and 5 ghz together because the router was playing up then another engineer said that was rubbish so ime stuck with a crap router virgin wont replace

Oh geez, that stinks. Maybe you could get a 3rd party router and get rid of Virgins? Save money on subscription costs too?
