Bounce tracking and messaging not working with LTE but does on wifi. In Australia

We purchased a Bounce watch and a LTE subscription for my son last Christmas(2024) at first it seemed to work rather well, except for the lag in the live tracking, we could message back and forth and I knew where he was by getting notifications when he is crossing boundaries that were set. recently this has all stopped working. When he is at home and the watch is connected to WIFI the watch syncs and all messages that were sent when not connected to wifi get sent and received, and notifications come through ie watch is charging or disconnected, powered off etc.
I have tried to reset the watch, removed the app from my phone and re installed it, re connected the bounce to the app and nothing seems to work in getting the LTE subscription to work. On the app when i go to my sons account and settings under connectivity it says it is active. We are finding this frustrating as the subscription and watch is not cheap, hasnt even lasted 11 months and issues are being had. We rely on this with our sons medical history to know where he is at. Any assistance in getting a solution to this will be greatly apprecitive.

  • Same issues happening here is Australia too. We sent one back with battery issues and two replacements have had LTE issues. Unfortunately haven't found a solution to fixing it.

  • Same issue here, but in NZ.

    2 children with bounces that were working perfectly. First child had a battery issue which Garmin replaced, replacement worked perfectly and has since. Second child had same battery issue, Gamin replaced, we are on our third replacement and none have worked. 

    Weirdly all the green Bounces we have connected to LTE, and the new black ones have not. 

    We have sent logs and watch data to Garmin, but they have not been able to find any solves. 

    Tempted to take the refund and then try the Bounce 2. 

  • It would be great to hear if this problem has been resolved on the Bounce2. 

    I was told last week to do a factory reset. We did and its working again yay. but then wasn't working yesterday so he turned it off and on this morning and working again. Try a factory reset to see if it helps. 

  • Nope… we recently purchased bounce 2… exactly the same. Works on WiFI at home. Leave the house and nothing works. GPS was semi working and LTE not at all and now GPS stopped working too!!! Is basically a $10 watch to tell the time and completely useless at tracking my child. Going to get refund and go to the spacetalk I think!!!
