we’ve just got a bounce for our child and it was working fine for a couple of weeks - until I had to change my phone over as the old one died. Since then the watch can’t send or receive messages when it’s outside our wifi or close to my phone, making it completely unusable for our purposes.
I’ve unpaired & re-paired, set up the watch from scratch, restarted both phone & watch, ensured the latest Garmin Jr app and firmware are installed but no luck.
we’ve paid for annual subscription to the bounce jr LTE plan and it says in the app on my phone that it’s still active. I have an iPhone 16e running on an e-sim.
has anyone had any similar experiences? The Garmin support has been awful (read: non existent) so far. We’re getting to the point of just wanting our money back and getting a different product. We’re need this watch to be reliable, otherwise what’s the point??
